As the colder weather is slowly making its way around, we find ourselves venturing outside a little bit more. If you are anything like me, you want to take as much advantage of the minimal yet beautiful outdoor friendly whether we get here in Texas. Finding a nice place outside sometimes can be difficult, especially if you’re looking for more of a relaxing day/evening date type of situation as well as a night out. Doing my fair share of failed bars/restaurants I have found one of the perfect places, The Goose’s Acre. The Goose’s Acre is the perfect combination of both, they have not one but two sensational patios, one upstairs and one down stairs both overlooking the calm relaxing water of The Woodlands Waterway. Both patios have their own bars and an excellent menu selection with many different great foods, and drink specials throughout the day. The Goose’s Acre is a genuine Irish Pub/restaurant that was 100% designed and built in Ireland then replicated here in The Woodlands and are also known for their excellent Irish Car Bombs and draft beer! One of the best parts about the Gooses Acre is the live music. During the day on the upstairs patio they have one very talented young man who plays his guitar and sings, he has an excellent music selection, and great voice might I add. The second bands plays inside and comes around 9pm when The gooses Acre turns more into a bar rather than a restaurant, admitting guests only 21 and up. The Gooses Acre is your perfect combination of a relaxing day date or get together with friends, as well as a great night out.
