With Astroworld gone we’ve been dying for something new. Well, here it is! The Brand New, still in the works Grand Texas Theme Park!!

Just imagine, 630 acres of pure entertainment. It will be located along Highway 59 just north of the New Caney exit, the amusement park is expected to open by summer 2015 with seven theme areas devoted to Lone Star history and culture. We are talking roller coasters, a 40 acre water park, hotels, shopping, dining and much more!!

By the year 2020, officials expect 4.5 million theme park visitors along with at least 2,000 new jobs! This is just another reason why The Woodlands is the place to be!
